A class for parents wishing to have their child receive the Sacrament of Baptism are normally held on the second Tuesday of the month in the Parish Conference Center at 6:00 p.m. Please call Ann Marie Gervino to register at 215-675-1925.
Baptisms are being celebrated on most Sundays of every month.
In order to confirm a date for Baptism, parents must complete the following:
- Be a registered member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish (If you are registered at another parish, a letter of permission must be given by the Pastor of your home parish).
- Attend the Parent Baptism class
- Submit letter(s) of eligibility for Godparent(s.) This is provided by the home parish of the Godparent(s).
Only one Godparent is required for baptism, although many people like to have two.
A Godparent must be a practicing Catholic who has received Baptism, Confirmation and Communion, be at least 16 years of age and if married, married according to the laws of the Church.
